It's that time of year again, my niece has a Birthday and requests something different, unusual and cool. Making cake look like regular food is always fun and quite the conversation piece! 

Popcorn Cake: Mini Cupcakes with white & yellow mini 

marshmallows cut to look like popcorn

Hot Dog Cake: Donut sticks for a bun, 

frosted pound cake hotdog, 

spice drops for the onions & relish, 

topped with tinted corn syrup ketchup 

and tinted frosting mustard.

French Fries Cake:

crinkle cut pound cake,

broiled and covered with tinted corn syrup ketchup

My Newest Obsession! I am a Huge Fan of Bakerella. She is oh so creative and makes the coolest cake pops ever. I recently made some for a New Year's Eve party just for the fun of it. They were a huge hit! I have since received many orders for them. Not only are they fun to make but they are fun to eat, so tasty!

 The pops spell, "Happy Birthday"

Football Birthday Cake

Made for my Little Guy for his 4th Birthday. The Football on top was vanilla poppy-seed made in the Wilton shaped Football pan. A delicious cookies and cream for the base layer. Of course, I couldn't forget the black & white striped candles, (The Referees!)
